Well, such a nice picture! I have seen those stairs before, and I can certainly tell your shot does justice to reality! It is a great composition and could even seem manipulated for someone who never have seen in person, wich also gives a nice sense of humour to it. Your skills with photography seem pretty advanced, but let me suggest you to apply some filter in the picture because, even though it is beautiful, the color combination does not seem to be the most eye pleasing (wich could be good, if that is what you want) and takes away some interest from the picture. The stair color conflicts with the background colours, and some filters would take care of that.
Overall, a wonderful piece!

Wow. This shot is absolutely amazing. The color of the stairs and the worn spots give a really cool, old vibe to it. The person walking up also gives it a sence of movement and clairifys what it is, it's so abstarct it's a little hard to tell. The perspective is also nice, looking down on all the books. My only critique is maybe to dim the light coming from the front window just enough so it didn't bleed onto the stairs. I might have also faded the books around it so to make the steps pop a bit more, and not compete with the color. Overall, this is an AMAZING piece, thank you for sharing it.
