Postcard from Madrid 14

Fantastic JACAC. My left side of the brain shouting: He broke all the rules and my right side saying: Shut the hell up! The photo is amazing. The fact that the man is sitting in the absolute corner of the bench looking at one television only, but it is the lighting, the framing and the focal length that transform an interesting situation in an work of art. Everything is perfect. The framing, although not respecting any known rules, is fluid on the brain, the deep focal length effect gives the dramatic effect of the repetition and the lighting coming from the TV's contrasting with the darkness coming from the back of the man, gives the tension that makes up the whole art piece. It's fantastic also the fact that the headphones are on the far side of the TV's, a small detail that even gives more interest to this shot. For me, this could very well be suggested for a DD.
